Loyala High School, Siliguri, stands firmly on a foundation built in 1992 by a dedicated group of educationists and social workers who shared a common vision—to create an institution where quality education, strong values, and holistic development come together. Named after St. Ignatius Loyala, the founder of the Jesuits, our school embodies his timeless principles of discipline, character formation, and intellectual growth.

Age Criteria.
At Loyala High School, we follow a clear and age-appropriate admission structure to ensure that every child enters an environment suited to their stage of development. As per the school’s guidelines, the minimum age for admission to Nursery is 3½ years. This helps ensure that children are emotionally, socially, and developmentally ready to begin their formal learning journey.
Admissions to higher classes follow both the age requirement and an evaluation of the child’s academic readiness. Students seeking entry into KG and above sit for an admission test designed to assess whether they are prepared for the standard they wish to join. This is followed by an interview with the student and their parents/guardians.
